'This is a fraud number that represents themselves as the Amazon representatives.
'They will ask about your email and name and will tell you that your Amazon account has been hacked.
'They will ask you to install an app on your phone for the purpose of the identity verification.
'In the middle of our conversation I got suspicious and asked the person who represented himself as Austin with the fake ID number 3118609 to let me go home and log in to my account from my computer and he was insisting to not do so.
'I told him I am suspicious of this conversation and do not trust him and hung up on him .
'Came home ,went to my account and requested a call back from Amazon .They assured me that my account was not hacked and the number I called does not belong to Amazon.
'I am glad that I did not fall for it but still I am shaky and will continue to check my email account ,all bank accounts and etc. to make sure that they have not used my name and email address for hacking purposes.
