These people are cold-calling numbers well outside their trade area (Texas). When stopped by our Nomorobo spam-blocking service, they pressed a number to bypass it by claiming to be legitimate. The caller knew a name at our number and wanted to give that person their "silver report." We attempted to ask them to remove our number from their calling list and not bypass our blocking service, but they were belligerent and talked over our request. Very rude and obnoxious.

Nowadays, there are a lot of scammers and just unscrupulous people, and by leaving a response to the number, you are helping other people.
